Potluck and Ben eating very well now

Last night we had 16 guests over for a potluck, but I only took 1 picture... In other news, Ben is eating well and has figured out how to swallow real food, fun to watch.

Corn niblet toes

Ben grabbed his toes for the first time a few days ago when I was changing him. We've been saying they he's within a day of rolling over for a few weeks now, but I really think he's within a day of rolling over!! He can also (kind of) tripod/sit up, but he's still pretty tippy!

Pipes are no longer frozen!!!!

After two days of showers at the ymca and no water - we had a warm day of 38 and the pipes cleared out. So thankful nothing burst...

Sleeping!

After 1.5 hours of sleep training, Ben is sleeping like a champ! He had been waking up 4-7 times most nights, not even hungry...just wanting to be with us. Friday night, we put him to bed groggy, and he fell asleep. Then, at 2 am, Todd fed him, and he wouldn't go back down. I went in every 5/10 minutes to pat his back, tell him he was okay, and let him know this is bedtime. The 2 nights since have been great! Last night, he went to bed at 8, and slept until 7:45. Only got up once for food! Wow!!!

So close to rolling over...

Not really, still have to work - but not heading outside until it warms up a bit...

2013 was very exciting for Devon and I as we welcomed Ben into our family! We look forward to his many changes and developing personality, each moment makes us smile. He is still trying to figure out rice cereal, but feeding like a piglet and growing so fast...
