Road trip to Grandma and Grandpa's house

Great day with Ben

I had a great day with Ben while Todd studied and went to a meeting in town. We even spent over an hour hiking around Neighbor Chris' family land with our shirtsleeves pushed up: beautiful weather!

Christmas night! Cookie decorations and then drive through weaverville to see Christmas lights. Ben is now entertaining us, life is good!

Mother Goose Story Time

Mom here: I took Ben to the story time at the Weaverville Library for the first time today. The librarian is fantastic: singing, clapping, and remembers all the kids' names. The other moms were a little cliquish, but hopefully I'll make some Mom friends out of the deal, too. Ben took it all in, wide-eyed and adorable as always,

Once they returned we rushed to Burnsville to check out a craigslist Hutch, what a great deal - and Ben was great throughout it all! Hope he does this well on our drive to Virginia!
